  3. What if we use windmills to pump a massive amount of water up to a mountain. And then if we need energy we let the water flow down at a controlled rate through a watermill. (I hereby copyright this idea ;) ) And yes I'm Dutch... EDIT: Ah fuck, 6 minutes into the video and it already exists. No wonder I suppose. EDIT2: If you don't have a hill I suppose you can use the windmills as a water tower or just build a water tower next to the windmills. (copyrighted by me, lets go baby) EDIT3: I suppose water can evaporate though, need some really thick walls.
