  1. In the Netherlands we've grown used to all this. But not even here would we destroy old roads to make bike paths. We just draw a small path on the side of the road that cyclists can use as well as cars. Also, everyone here drives a bicycle. So people in cars are very polite to bicycles and I we are polite to them. I personally do always stop for walkers but it is right that people always think they can squeeze past on a bike. Not unlike people who drive motorbikes!

  4. As a Dutch person I can't stand idly by while you bash bicycles. Look, it's not the bicycles fault. It's the cars fault for making the roads unsafe for other mounted vehicles like bicycles, coaches and horses.
