I like how the Supreme Allied Commander Europe is called 'Wolters'. Wolter comes from Wolther, Wolt is leader and Her is army. Army leader. An interesting variation of this name is when the elements are flipped you get Herold or Herald, Harald. You may recognice this name. Also, good facial structure, just needs a cool beard or mustache now.

I know runic is not as well studied, but you can definitely see some links. I'm guessing the 'g' sound in runic, which was represented by X has a common origin or is taken from Greek X. There are also some more obvious ones like Birch-ᛒ and Oþal-ᛟ looking like Omega.

@ashbridgeindustries Nope. Came about the same way as it did in Dutch. You is actually the first person plural... As it still is. But it was polite to address a single person in this plural form. However while Dutch developed jullie (je lui, you lot) for the plural, English kept it to function for both. And also while Dutch developed a new polite form 'u', English I'm pretty sure, did not. So in reality we Dutch and you English are constantly being very polite to eachother without realizing it.

Honestly most of the chiefs of defence look as if they're going to collapse at the first sign of pressure. Where are the REAL MEN?! Look at Germany's representative for example. Germany known for it's war like character selected... This guy? It's almost as if they selected him as some kind of conman to make other countries think Germany is being a nice obedient beta country. Jörg Vollmer looks more trustworthy for example. At the very least good facial structure, Germanic name and preferably a badass moustache or beard.

Okay but, lets judge them on appearance. Jean looks kind of slow, Jean-Christophe looks kinda weak. Louis Alphonse looks kinda chad. By the way Jean-Christophe absolutely remimnds me of Napoleon.
