My great grandfather died of exactly that... Hardening of the arteries... Never knew this could be the cause. My grandmother has very bad skin because of too much sun exposure... I guess the ozone layer issue worsened that...

Astrology is the logical one. (This is a test in humor and intelligence, please don't correct me).

Unfortunately people need to pay their bills. But it’s good you address it.

Sheeple: “Engineered virus? What are you, some sort of conspiracy theorist?” Bill Gates himself: BIO TERRORISM

Where is your master from?

I am not fond of Sub-Saharan people.

SAME!

When I was young I got a score I was less than happy about. Because of ADHD I often wasn't reading well and misunderstood the point of it. After the test this would dawn on me and what the answer should be.
2
Incredible, thanks for this. Wonderful piece of work! Oh and of course he was a ... those people seem to really lack a moral compass don't you think? Horrible.
2
Everyone has a part to play in society. Smart people spend their time chasing useless but incredibly interesting and mindblowing knowledge. That doesn't really make us better, just different.
2
It’s almost been ten years and ye the problem is here. 22nm back then, 12nm now. We really seem to have pushed its limit.

I like how people are making it harder for themselves than it is. The answer is, the entire class.

So sunscreen is basically blackface but we just don't see that it is. awesome :D
1
I could follow it until 14:00 because they never taught that sign in school to me. ^_^ Also to be honest if all the things attributed to Newton are actually his, then he was pretty damn inventive.
1
Ngl I would also not bother correcting such a stubborn woman. Would just cause confusion and conflict.
1
Science is just systematic trial and error with measurements.
1
Okay so we all have preconceived notions, things that we’ve experienced or feel to be true. And are not open to reconsideration. I knew that and I’m not ashamed of it, I’m only human.
1
Wow, I think it's really interesting low IQ people die THAT much more easily in war. Really tells you something about survival of the fittest and such... Maybe we should make low IQ platoons and put them on the front lines. I'm sorry for being evil like that. But if you don't let them go to war, you are selecting stupid people to survive... Oh I guess I' a eugenicist then.
1
Yes, lets bring scissors to a gigantic magnet.
1
How about XXXVII ?
1
Is there research into animal communication. That we can understand better their signals.
1
School is ass. You can't factory produce education.
1
It really isn't. Furthermore, the general public neednt know any of this. Science is something for the elite few, always has been, always will be. If you enjoy learning about it, you are part of that top tenth or even fewer depending on how deep you go. And especially astronomy is as useless as it gets, despite being super interesting. Unless you're using the knowledge for satellites. And that is all fine. But lets not pretend there's any benefit in the working class knowing how big the sun is.

The backing of the **** WEF.

Dutch person when seeing this: "Uitdaging aanvaard".

Count Dankula and Veritasium on the same team? Epic!
1
I’ve seen this before somewhere… But when and where…
1
I’m sorry but this is exactly what is wrong with the post-modern world. People who criticize not based on evidence but on theory. “Oh no way that is possible because in THEORY it doesn’t work that way!” Absolute brainlets.
1
Whatever. Astronomy ironically doesn't make the world go round. It's fun, it's interesting. But the only part that matters to most humans in the modern world are our small metal moons. Just don't think about that too much and enjoy learning about astronomy, has such a rich past.
1
I like how the shells remind me a lot of Civil War... shells. Same name, unsurprising I suppose. But the latter was used to 'deter' people. Quite gruesome, but that's war unfortunately.
1
There isn't one answer, because there isn't one question.
1
Perfect time of the year to post this.

Very good video with the pizzas and stuff. Also Dutch/German *dab*, Ludolf means 'famous wolf'. Very cool to see the HISTORY behind maths, makes you understand it so much better and it's actually very cool that people have been thinking on these things for many many centuries at the least! By the way from doing a little bit of amateur studying into building and designing buildings I just KNOW that the reason people got into maths in the first place is BECAUSE they wanted to get more and more exact in their building. Showing off a certain beauty in the geometry of it, symmetry and so forth.

At home we have this with a different number.

Why is he wearing normal clothes?
1
Always wondered how black powder works despite knowing the ingredients . Cool video man.
1
I don't think nutrition got better at all, in fact it got worse. I think simply there's more and more availability of knowledge and you could say schooling helps, although I hated the factory-like form of it.
1
Isn't the energy 'stored' in trees and thus eventually soil? So not all of it goes back out.
1
Perhaps one day I'll understand. It's good to sow seeds.
1
It really is infuriating that people will go so far in their greed all at the cost of the entire worlds health. And this kind of stuff is STILL going on.
1
3s and 7s. That’s a QotSA song.
1
Considering the fact that snakes are the most hated and perhaps also the most feared animals by humans, I would consider this man incredibly brave. Sigurd or Siegfried would be an appropriate nickname.
1
Wow, so this guy was a true snake. Nothing accidental, pure greed.
1
Now answer me. How are these estimates done. There's obviously only a limited amount of stars we can see, as well as galaxies. I'm guessing a much much smaller number than was said in the video.
1
Is this a PJW video?
1
How does it look from up in your ivory observatory? Nonce.
1
Lmao reddit picking 69. THIS is culture. Just like people pick 7, it’s for christian reasons.
1
I am glad I have no idea what you're talking about. I like my straight forward worldview, it keeps me happy, that is more important than to know mathematics. :)
1
Few seconds later and I am proven right. 6:20 is what I mean. Pondering over such things can drain your spirit entirely and get you nowhere. Just enjoy life people!

*Trust me bro.

Don’t worry I know how to break it, just put it in my phone and I’ll drop it.
1
I have not, but I do know a city called Leiden
1
I think we put too much focus on ‘preventing’. In order to prevent some of these things you need a highly controlling government, something which, anyone who lives under one, can tell you is no fun to put it lightly. Instead we can simply personally prepare for worse times. Like growing our own food without pesticides, living away from the ‘packed sardines’, growing herbs. This is much more empowering than cowering in your city home from a virus. Stop putting the responsibility in the hands of people you don’t like nor trust. Take up that responsibility yourself if you want change in YOUR life.
1
I’ll have to watch this video probably many more times and do some resesrch before I understand. I don’t think that’s a shame as you’re summing up hundreds of years of math progress.
1
Oh so those damned tiny planes flying overhead here are releasing lead? I’m going to go to our local government and do something.
1
Like he said, not downwind. But they can go faster than the wind at an angle. Not sure how it works, but it does. Something to do with lifting the boat or something. And as expected you covered this. I still don’t understand it though. Doesn’t matter as I can still use the info if I were ever to sail.

That’s an excellent pronunciation of Leeuwenhoek.
