On top, the only people speaking Egyptian in Egypt are Coptic peoples. Yes, Coptic is a direct descendant from Ancient Egyptian language. The rest ARE arabs, and you are probably too!

  3. I think you’re overstating diversity here. Yes there were multiple ethnicities IN Egypt. But that doesn’t mean Egyptians were ‘diverse’. As you stated before, Egyptians are drawn consistently the same, very UNdiverse. It’s like saying Dutch people are very diverse because we have a bunch of foreigners living here. We are not diverse, we have a variety of blonde hair, blue eyes and pale skin. On top of a prominent brow ridge with deep lying eyes. Everything else is either foreign admixture or weak faces from mouth breathing. You’ll see this in the countryside and small towns where pretty much everyone looks exactly as described. And this is confirmed over and over again by ancient sources, with Tacitus being the most well known.
