  1. Winter Solstice is the rebirth of the sun, and given the fact we know Indo-Europeans believed in reincarnation it's a really simple 1+1=2. These sites are all Burial Mounds which track the Winter Solstice, because at that point there's a rebirth of their ancestors. That's my 2 cents, bye.
