  1. No? They rely on the very oil that they produce. Furthermore most 'renewable' energy in these percentages is burning trees a.k.a. 'biomass'. Yes, that's right. Burning trees is considered renewable because they grow again over time. And they usually make up the vast majority of the 'renewable energy' number. SHOCKER, I know.
