  3. At least it'll be interesting if he'll have the players. With the addition of Eriksen he has some depth for the 10 position. The box to box/defensive midfielder role is covered. But they still need De Jong to bring the ball in and even if they do get him, there's nobody who can fulfill this role like he does at the club. Then there's still the defense to worry about. Ten Hag relies a lot on smart Centrebacks who can both step forward to capture the ball under high pressure AND cover the vast space behind them. Varane and Maguire would have to improve a lot. He also relies a lot on fullbacks delivering width and crossing ability OR midfield ability. I don't see anyone capable of that right now at Man United except perhaps Shaw. Could go on about the attack but you get the idea. I have doubts regarding the players, if they can fulfill his plans.

  9. Isn't Eriksen a 10? That'd be an Eriksen/Bruno, vdBeek/McTominay/Fred, de Jong midfield. Erik will play with a 4-2-3-1 for sure, so one 10, one De Jong and one box to box or defensive midfielder.

  10. I think it's okay for Ronaldo to leave, it makes sense. But what doesn't make sense is him announcing this so late. Cavani is already gone and getting a good replacement is going to be nearly impossible. Thus they should not let him go for that reason, and it's his own fault too, he should know this.
