  1. No, blonde and blue eyes is a European trait. Now mainly seen in Northern Europe. Germany is IN Northern Europe and the majority of the people living there are blonde with blue eyes. Same for the Netherlands and the baltic countries like Latvia. It is not exclusive to Scandinavia, it’s just that Scandinavia has had the least migrants from other continents over the last centuries.

But yeah if it’s true that the mother had to abandon the child, it becoming state owned, that’s just dumb.
