  1. I really dislike these 'tree planting' companies anyways. As you say, usually they plant non indigenous trees as they buy trees or seeds rather than collect it nearby. Furthermore often this is on land where trees have just been cut down. If you really want to do something for forests. All you have to do is buy the land and then let nature do the work for you.

  2.  @historyandhorseplaying7374  What's wrong is that they will regrow there by themselves if left untended. Instead they plant non native and invasive species there and ruin the environment. Furthermore it would have been done anyways because chopping wood is a business. And in order to chop wood, wood has to grow.
