  1. When things become this 'Orwellian' as you say, you will have no justice and righteousness unless you push back against it. You cannot play by their rules and win. Either you get enough influential people behind you to sway things back in your favor, or you are going to have to do some 'illegal' things. This is the only option when a system tries to crush you.

  2. Corruption is of all times. And it is really in these times people will take sides and you will see where you stand and where others stand. There is often no reasoning out of this, some people really just need to be smacked in the end unfortunately. To emphasize, these people see it as a struggle, they are not open for discussion. And thus we must see it it that way too, and we can only struggle back. If this ever becomes violent, know that they brought this upon themselves by means of their injustice and their corruption. This is unfortunately ALWAYS how injustice gets settled, always has been throughout history.
