  10. Mate I left UK years ago after BREXIT. Live in Alanya Turkey. I don't know whether Covid is neutralised by vitamin D but where I live, there was limited lockdown and only masks on buses. Now tourism is back in full swing. 45,000 people alone just arrived in Antalya region this weekend. It's mainly Germans and Brits locked up for two years yea? Russians were here last three years but now they've dropped off for obvious reasons. Thing is fella it's so reasonable to live here, and in one year, the pound has almost DOUBLED to the Turkish lira. Me? I'm paying three hundred Euros for a modern apt overlooking the Med Sea. My last bills for electric and water in April, was 18 quid and 6 quid respectively. I don't need gas as the temps are so good. For example we get 324 days of 🌞 annually. (I saw how cold it was on that beach of yours) Jan to March is 18-21c April starts the real warmth at around 24c. However this year for the last five weeks it's been anything between 25-32c and 33c today.... May 22. June July August and mid September anything between 34-46c however I pace it in those hot days and visit the beach at 7am come back by 11am. I'm acclimatised basically. October to December is 25-19c on a sliding scale. Rain? Yes a little, concentrated over three weeks but not every day and it's almost tropical, in January. Goods are sold in modern marts like UK but prices are 60% less and these are for products like Schweppes and Heinz. Look up Numbeo and compare please. Finally there's great street markets here with fresh fruit and veg. For example apples are 40p a kilo and kiwi fruit 50p a kilo. Won't tell you the rest it would take too long. As for BP...they're here with the same shops within but the mark up is tiny. A British company charges petrol at 2005 UK pump prices. Ciggies are 1.26 for twenty I don't smoke but it's a good yardstick. Bye-bye πŸ‘‹πŸ˜Ž
