These countries who wanted NATO on their borders, democratically chose this. They wanted it there, to protect them from what this tyrant is doing in Ukraine. What also USSR did throughout history. In school we are taught, that liars will not progress; and truth is important in a civilised society. There are of course; exceptions to the rule. We are all entitled to our opinions. I can tell the Queen for example, I don't like her.... (actually worse than that) nobody will give a damn. I won't get arrested. Currently, if a person is in disagreement (shall I say); they could be facing a jail sentence in Russia. For example: Navalny. For example historically: The USSR. After all, they still have the Kremlin, old boring, jealous, narcissistic, boastful, soulless, cold hearted, uncivilised, Bolshovik legacy, murderous people. It's just a different way now. Because altho' they call Ukraine Nazis, it seems quite paradoxically speaking, they; who have shifted to the right. I lived and taught in both countries. I've explained it elsewhere here. Ukrainian people generally speaking, are much more cheerful; and more importantly democratic than rushists are. I speak to many young Russians on the beaches of Alanya now. Within the last twelve months. And currently now; though not many. They agree, that what I've said here, is quite accurate and furthermore; they are envious of Ukraine and its freedom to demonstrate and so on. Without the fear of being arrested. I don't know anything about you; but at least you're switched on, unlike many other people here. Who actually make uninformed; ridiculous comments.

@Alex-bz7re possibly but it applies both ways. I understand Russian quite well, tho my spoken word is not as good. I watch Russian TV stations; and their EU news particularly, perhaps even purposely, is overdubbed incorrectly; on many occasions. Thereby giving out the incorrect messages. PLUS their whole news set-up is just as bias; but actually more one sided and aggressive. They said the other day that it's okay to use nuclear weapons, as they'll be going to heaven and the west would croak. So.... Ask yourself this: Would the equivalent politician, giving the counter arguement, be allowed on Russian TV.
