I moved after BREXIT sort of foresaw the future. Travelled a LOT.... UK is underdeveloped take my word please. Decided on Alanya Turkey beautiful Med Sea climate. Been here two winters. Today it's 25th October 2022. Just came from the beach at 28c 🌞. Pay 400 Euros for a 1+1 overlooking the beach all mod cons. 4 yrs old. Swimming pool, inside and outside. Gym, concierge. Beautiful gardens with every citrus fruit you can think of. My last electric bill for September was £14.85.....1980s prices. Even with Aircon on from June to September it's only been £27 per month. No gas necessary it's always great weather. 324 sunny days a year. Water bill same period was £2.64. Ciggies are 1.40 for 20. Don't smoke but it's a good gauge. Products are sold here from UK at 60% cheaper. Example? Schweppes tonic water....53p. Here's a video of a Brit tourist here in May which he uploaded. I live by that beach he's eating at with his wife and daughter. I'm not a tourist I'm expat. I live here all year round....it actually rained Monday 17th October all day and broke the cycle. Because there's been no rain since March 10. . Tbh it's slightly too hot in July and most of it comes from Syria on an easterly. 40 to 46c. But I'm acclimatised and go for a swim from 6am to 11am when it's reasonably 28c peak. The rest of the time of the year, the wind if any and light, comes from the South or South West. It's cheap as chips to live here. Tourists in my small block in summer, can pay anything up to $800. So a twelve month contract in December, is the best option as the owner gets guaranteed regular income. This was filmed early May by a Brit guy. Even then it was hot, unusually for May, at around 33c plus or minus either way. 324 Sunny days a year. Jan is about 12-14c and rains a few days only. Feb is the worst at 8-12c and rains like the tropics for three weeks but not incessantly. March to April starts to get warm again. 18 ascending steadily to 25. May averages about 29c this year hotter. June is hotter this year than last. 32-37 July August last year was 38-46. Sept to December averages about 25 to 21 sliding scale. Lots of ladies from Eastern and Western Europe. Scandinavian. African. Asian. Australian. English language is the norm. Second vid is from a drone a few months back. Thanks for the vid and I feel so sorry for people there. If I hadn't taken the chance I'm sure I'd have ended up the same way. https://youtu.be/-UO4F-edC9o https://youtu.be/qOzq9t_n9AQ
