  2. What would make you think that he doesn't? I'm sure he's more than capable of pumping his own fuel.

  3. +DarkDarkPrincess Well the process shouldn't be difficult to figure out, I would assume it would go something like this. Pull up next to gas pump, turn trucks engine off, open door, raise seat lift, slide/move himself onto seat lift, lower seat lift, use controls to lower wheelchair from lift, take wheelchair off lift, get in wheelchair, position self by gas door and gas pump, open gas door, open gas cap, slide credit card/debit card into card reader at pump, push required buttons and choose the fuel octane, insert gas nozzle into gas tank, pump gas. As for issues it requires more steps/more time to refuel, and he probably gets a lot of unwanted attention. I can only guess that he would rather be left alone and not be offered help, as he seems quite capable of doing things for himself. People need to realize that disabled people usually don't have a problem asking for help, and they will ask for help when they need it.

  4. +DarkDarkPrincess That's easy, you don't pull next to a pump that has anything around you that would be an obstruction. Also, it's probably not even an issue, since he obviously need to pull farther away from the pump than other drivers to be able to exit his vehicle.

  5. +DarkDarkPrincess Yeah, I'm pretty sure all gas stations are required to have them. It's just not an issue when you pull far enough away from them leaving enough room so you can get out. He has to plan these things out when he goes to a gas station, he doesn't just pull in and then realize he can't exit his vehicle.

  8. If it wasn't safe for him to be driving, he wouldn't have been issued a drivers license. People who are disabled and drive with hand controls are tested and have to prove that they can safely operate a motor vehicle.
