  32.  @Jon.......  Yeah, I got that you don’t have an issue with it, why would you… it’s not an inconvenience to you? Whether they’re parked in the space, or they’re waiting in the space is irrelevant, it’s illegal and the space is still being occupied by a vehicle that has no right to be in that space. The handicapped space needs to be available for those that are legally allowed to be in that space. Suggesting that a person illegally occupying the handicapped space can simply move to allow the person who has a right to that space is totally ridiculous. Oh and yes, of course we all get inconvenienced when it’s busy, but why make it more of an inconvenience to those that obviously have less parking spaces available to them? As for those disabled drivers that will occasionally park in regular spaces when handicapped spaces are available, there’s obviously legitimate reasons for them to park in a regular space. The disabled driver/passenger might be having a day where they’re having less pain, or feeling okay enough to not need the handicapped space and want to leave it open for others that may need it. The passenger/owner of the placard wanted to be dropped off to leave the space open for others and the driver went to park the car in a regular space. Maybe the vehicle has handicapped license plates but the driver of the vehicle may not be the owner, therefore it would be illegal for them to park in a handicapped space. Actually all of our opinions don’t really matter.
