@kc1072 You’re assuming that the old woman shouldn’t be driving. She had a medical emergency, which could happen to anyone at any age.

@kc1072 Oh really, no one should be driving at that age? I disagree, if a person has the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle, they should have the privilege to drive. The persons age is irrelevant.

@kc1072 Anyone could be operating a motor vehicle safely and then in an instant out of nowhere have a medical emergency. They could have no medical history that would have been known to cause the medical emergency, so there would obviously be no reason them not to be driving. A yearly test on older drivers would simply be impractical.

Assume much?

Yeah, sure.

Yeah, right as if a person over that age couldn’t possibly safely operate a motor vehicle. Get real! Stay home? You think older people don’t have things to do, places to go and lives to live? Also, obviously not every older person has family to give them rides. Of they’re capable of safely operating a motor vehicle there’s no reason why the shouldn’t be given the privilege to drive.

Medical emergency not medical condition. There’s obviously a difference. If they’re capable of safety operating a motor vehicle then they don’t need someone to drive them. Classic excuse? Nah, it could be a legitimate reason.

@matthewcaughey8898 Yes, you actually are being ridiculous. Also, your story sounds totally outlandish and unbelievable. 30 incidents? Yeah, right. 😆
1
@matthewcaughey8898 I doubt that, because usually after the first indication that a person has a medical issue and they’re a danger to others and themselves their license will be flagged to be revoked.

Get real! She apparently had a medical emergency, which could happen to anyone at any age.
1
@_Smarf_ Really? Didn’t seem confusing at all. 🤔
1
Yeah, how dare that woman have a medical emergency while driving. So you think only the elderly can have a medical emergency while driving?
1
@socialjusticewarrior9601 I wasn’t making excuses. If an older person is capable of safely operating a motor vehicle, then they should have driving privileges. You seem to think after a specific age that they’re incapable of doing so.
1
So, because of your experience you just assume it couldn’t possibly be a legitimate medical emergency? Oh and how does one loose a license? 🙃
