Republicans lead 6 to 3... if Republicans actually cared for balance of power they would have waited after the election to pick a nominee but the rushed it because they wanted a major lead in the Supreme Court. So don't talk to me about checks and balances when we all saw the power hungry Republicans where with the Supreme Court and lets not forget in 2016, they didn't want to pass Obama pick because they said the same thing that the next President should pick the nominee.
