I didnt know how to react because I never experience something like that and it was my first job at 16 years old and didnt want to speak out because i was scared of losing my job. but these are things that fortunately you wont be able to understand unless it happen to you but I do appreciate you hearing my story and listening.

I fully understand what he said because I remember hearing that word really affected me and even till this day I always remember that day. Its like the saying goes "people may forgive you but they will never forget the way you made them feel" and that is why i know he said that because I already remember that moment. When your a darker skin tone calling someone shaded can be a racial slur. Would you know why he used the word shaded? either way, the way i felt , the reference that he used the word, to me was a racial slur, it may not be for you but you're also not in my position to say that something isnt racial for me personally. I do appreciate you hearing my story, but i do find it disrespectful for you to tell me what is or isnt racial for me. I would love to continue this discussion but not if I will continue to be disrespected and made felt like my story is invalid to how I felt and dictating what is racial and what isnt. like i said if you want to continue to have this discussion I do not mind but I ask that you not invalidate an experience that happen to me when i am sharing this story with you.
