I dont know why republicans say, "they are trying to take away our guns" its part of the constitution, guns cant legally be taken away. What democrats want, is to limit guns going into the wrong hands. Republicans are defending guns to go to anyone even the wrong hands.

Trumpty Dumpty your fall is coming! the thing is the constitution doesn't specify exactly what type of guns are or are not allowed. It just says right to bare arms which is very general to just weapons to protect themselves and that's why we have gun problems because it's not specific. Wording is everything

@1911GreaterThanALL okay you're going way off topic now to a different conversations. Point is, guns in general are protected under the constitution, it's not specified which guns are allowed or isn't. The constitution is vague in this matter which is why we are having issues on what is allowed. Democrats just want to make sure it doesn't go in the wrong hands like mass shooters. By adding more background checks etc. Yes it might be inconvenient to do extra steps to buy a gun but it doesn't hurt if it's saving lives from a gun going into the wrong hands. That is my point.
