  14. Love the entry way with the different boards. Better than drywall. Having your grandpa's furniture is really awesome. I have a little footrest that my dad made when he was in high school. So that's about 70 years ago! Anyway, place looks great.

  30. I'm glad you mentioned about the house not liking the cold. Granted there aren't water lines to freeze but I don't think it's good for the walls/wood. I'd be afraid of warping or mold. But you live that way, so I guess you know better than me! Glad things are going well. Oh, are you going to put a well in at some point?

  37. Thanks for the update. The ceiling looks really great, very finished looking. Can that tarp be near the stove pipe? I think a house close to town is important in case you need medical attention. Especially if you have kids.

  41. Maybe start cutting those trees if the temp goes up. Get as much of the house area ready before spring. And the driveway so it will be easier to bring in the materials. Just a thought. Is this a one story or two? Basement? 24x32 will seem huge to you guys! Look forward to it.

  44. Looking great. Soooo happy you got a regular refrigerator. In time you can add solar panels and not worry how much you are using. Stove is nice. That will certainly heat the whole place. Get that skirting done soon!!
