Instead of amasake, I put boiled water in a mug in which I have already filled to about a third with oat flakes and a pinch of salt. As I pour the water in i stir the oats so that they don't clump. Evenwiththisstep they might clump a bit but you can get rid of them after the mug has been covered for min 3 minutes. Always cover the mug to keepthe heat in and let the oats sweep in size. It is an extremely warming, comforting, soothing, nutritious drink. If you like things sweet you could add a bit of honey or fruit syrup or some raisins, or brown sugar. once it has been made

My father always drank warm water first thing in the morning 😊. I didnt like it so I drink tea.
