  2.  @eddieengland9886  Seems that way. By the way, how many Americans think Snowden is a whistleblower? Probably most. Turns out in 1981, Reagan signed Executive Order 12333 giving the CIA the legal authority to spy on any American they wanted to. Bush #43 renewed it in 2008. Snowden basically showed the world a 1981 newspaper and said he was a whistleblower. His cover story was soggy, but it worked. To quote a famous person, "Ah, you think you could fooL a Corleone with that farce of an escape". The Snowden case never made any sense to me, until I assumed he was a spy, who narrowly escaped. Then it makes perfect sense.
