  4. The plaza was nearly empty. Nobody in the street, that watched, even flinched. Nobody is on the ground in the plaza after the first event. Why? Why wait until the plaza is nearly empty and 2 hours after the winner ended the race. Was the smoke coming from the second floor window?

  14. @doescode doescode Agreed. Was it 294 injured or 23,000... I forget. But it was nice they all went to the same hospital. The 41 race watchers, who all lost a leg, were taken care of by the 300 doctors in the trauma room which typically only holds 4, but was rearranged to hold an extra 37 trauma patients, who lost a limb, I mean a leg. The shrapnel that exploded from the smoke pyrotechnics dispersed so that it only blows off legs. It does not impact arms, torsos, backs, shoulders, necks or heads.
