I was an US Army Sniper in the Vietnam War 2/502 Infantry, 101st Airborne. Our main AO was the A Shaw Valley Area on the DMZ , it was very heavy jungle (Dark Green). I switched to an M-16 as my rifle of choice.
When I saw it happen, I told my friends, it didn't hit his ear. He reacted like it was cut, I'm going with the glass. I walked point for my team, so the M-16 was the best for the job where we were..
In my 9 years US Army, I knew a Capt of the MP's and he told me he once hit a man in the shoulder of his fatigue jacket, missing his actual body and it spun like a top, onto the ground. I agree, no bullet touched the Orange/Mango Wonder Boy.
