I found a wallet in Milwaukee, on the south side at a gas station, with $460 in cash in it. That would be about $2000 today. I drove to the house to return it, and the lady said she would take it. I told her where I worked, and to tell the wallet owner, to come to my workplace. I wanted to return the wallet to the owner. He showed up on Monday, 2 days later, and told me the exact amount and he got his wallet back and his cash. He did not offer a reward and never said thank you. The house I had gone to was the ex-wife! My coworkers said don't ever return money. I lost my wallet about 3 years before that. It had about $20-$30 in it and my drivers license. I did get the wallet and DL back, but not the cash.
