These attendees paid big money to travel there, big money to get in, only to be packed into 3500 acres with 83,000 fellow travelers. Figure with roads and open space it is 40-60 people per acre. Think of 4-6 RV's on a small suburban 1/4 acre lot. Most camp grounds are not that dense. So these folks left their beach front house in Monterey or Santa Barbara, to live 9 feet away from Claudio from Moreno Valley, who just waved goodbye to the guards at Folsom in March, after 4 years. He is there to party with his pregnant 2nd cousin. Claudio is now out of booze and cigarettes. He is knocking on your door at 3 am.

@cwx8 Communism would have people in guard towers watching everyone.

The daytime highs are 79-80 F for next 6 days. That is very misleading because 22 of the next 24 hours, temps are UNDER 75 and for 17 of the next 24 hours they are UNDER 70. A few hours of partly sunny weather is not going dry out anything, not even wet socks. No joke. Need to be highs of 88-92 F to dry the soaked clay.

@dallas-dee The high desert weather will be cool for a week, which is adding to the problem, the wet clay will not dry out as it gets COLD at night with under 50 F temp, the high of the day of 79 F is reached at 4 pm. So assume most of the day or 20 hours per day, it is under 75F. If my front lawn was a dry clay lake bed, there is no way it dries out if the high is 79F at 4 pm. Might take a week or more. 90F would help, but this is not the case.

Waiting is rarely a good idea.

This is why you bring 10 extra cases of beer, booze and 20 cartons of cigarettes. When the beer , booze and smokes run out. You can sell a beer for $100, cigarette $10.

Very few made it out. The size of the camp ground is jaw dropping. Wow. She camp sites are designed for 200 campers. Some for 10.

That clay mud is not going to dry out with temps of 50-65 F - which is what it is most of the day. The difference between a hedonistic festival and Christian one, is one group is told to look out for yourself first. The other, look out for your neighbor. The Hedonistic group theme this year was, you are no different than an animal.

@weirdshibainu Correct.

@armorclasshero2103 communism- spare me - I see no guard towers, barbed wire or AK's. You clearly skipped 10th grade classes on world Governments. Try this in North Korea.
