  1. There must be a leadership challenge to Starmer, the wrong leader for Labour and the country if he becomes PM. The split over Israel/ Gaza/ Palestine is real and deep- it is not going to resolve on its own. There are also wider issues about the eradication of the left through the Blairite ascendancy. Unless Labour confronts the issue of his deeply flawed project ( putting it charitably), the fissures will only worsen. The Australian Labour Party changed its leader weeks before the 1983 election and won- it can be done. It is high time he goes to save the party.
