  1. Labour is Thatcherism. Widening inequality is here to stay without the reversal of neoliberalism. The Labour right is in the service of the rich. When over 44,000 teachers of working age left in each of the last two years there will not be over 6000 new teachers.

  2. I hope I win a prize for being one of the few viewers likely to see your comment on an interview that is five months old! Phillipson is unlikley to be Education Secretary after the next reshuffle. Her cold, robotic manner suggests she does not have the skill set or gravitas necessary to work with different stakeholders. Education is in total free fall with a raft of systemic issues. She is not a high calibre minister and will be replaced by someone who is up to the job before long.
