  1. The level of determination and articulacy of Mrs Webber in seeking justice for her son and the other victims of the terrible crime in Nottingham in 2023 is simply remarkable. The public inquiry should result in concrete change to the benefit of society and will be vindication of the efforts of all the families affected by this tragedy. GMB has been very good in the way it has interviewed the relatives with sensitivity giving them the space to express their grief and concerns in their own words. It is shocking though not surprising it has taken the determination shown to force the authorities to address the issues via a public inquiry but the fortitude, resilience and persistence of the families deserves enormous credit.
