  1. The purpose of work in the UK is to make the rich more wealthy. It is the entire purpose of the neoliberal system in place since 1979 in order to facilitate the transfer of wealth from the workers to the rich. The comment about long answers is profoundly ignorant, very rude and patronising. These are experts in their field and if she is not capable of digesting a few sentences and concepts in their responses she should not be part of this select committee. Her demeanour is appalling.
