  1. I think it’s possibly because men, particularly young men, are being told that masculinity is bad which in and of itself is absurd. I’m not a fan of Tate at all but my understanding is that among all the ridiculous misogynistic nonsense he spouted, there were some gems of truth that young men latched on to.
