  1. The amount of time and research that goes into any one of these videos actually makes that seem like a modest amount.

  2.  @r0ky_M  What's that got to do with anything? I'm a video editor myself, so I have some idea of the time and effort involved with the editing side. I'm also acutely aware of how undervalued video editing is. Add to that the impressive amount of research he puts in, $7K as a starting point is at the lower end of what you'd expect. I'd say if he can make a living out of this then he deserves whatever he gets.
