  1. Good on you for rescuing greyhounds. They make great pets and unfortunately a lot of them are treated like shit and then discarded (usually put down) as soon as they stop being competitive.

  4. I think you're missing the point. Of course they have a right to speak their minds, it's the arrogance in thinking that ordinary people care about their opinions. They're actors - their job is pretending to be someone else. That hardly makes them esteemed political commentators. The point is they should just stick to making movies.

  8. It’s a pretty good litmus test for how bad a trilogy is when you can’t even be bothered downloading an illegal copy of the final movie. Even with the third Matrix movie, as much of a convoluted, ridiculous mess as it was, I still made the effort to see it. But this ... there are no words.

  10. Loved the Titanic menu analogy. I have to admit I found this series a bit too plodding for my taste and I spent a lot of time wondering what the hell was going on so I was surprised by all the glowing reviews. Maybe I'm just one of those morons who sees Star Wars as lots of pew pew pew and my simple brain can't accommodate complex story lines.

  11. My initial thought was this was all put on to make people watch the Oscars in future but I don't think they'd script an act of violence. I think it was just Will Smith being a tosser followed up, laughably, by him giving a schmaltzy speech about loving people. Bleugh!
