  2. The rumours about covid camps in Australia were greatly exaggerated. They did exist but it wasn’t like anyone who refused the jab got sent away. In reality it affected a tiny proportion of people.

  3.  @xaxzander4633  I'm not justifying it. The very idea of it is completely abhorrent. It's just people from other countries have this skewed idea of what the pandemic was like in Australia, probably because they saw some of the vision from Victoria of the riots or the pregnant girl being carted off by the cops for a Facebook post. Again, not saying any of that was justified but if you asked 99.9% of Australians what life was like during the pandemic, they'd say it was generally pretty peaceful on the whole.

  5. I appreciate Avi’s work as an independent journalist but I’m on the fence with this one. I’ve worked in tv for quite a while and editing down an interview to fit within an allocated time is de rigueur in this industry. I’d have to see the whole uncut interview - if his words are being rearranged and taken out of context then that’s out of line but if they just edited out the fluff to cut to the chase then that’s totally expected.
