@theofanislantzakis9869 I think he said a lot of stuff that Australians really need to hear. We are a complacent bunch and we are being steered down the path of a digital autocracy where the freedoms you enjoy now will gradually be stripped away. This is happening right now and Australia is sleep walking into it. We need more people like Tucker.

No that’s not what he was saying. He was against tokenistic welcome to country rituals and the hidden motivations behind them, not Aboriginals.

@reginagilby1101 there’s nothing wrong with that but when it’s overkill it tends to lose its meaning. Like with welcome to country ceremonies, I was born here, I pay taxes here, I don’t need to be welcomed to my own country thanks very much. I am just as Australian as they are or anyone else who lives here.

It’s not immigrants that’s the problem per se. This country was built on immigration. The problem is that we have a housing crisis and a government increasing immigration numbers to record levels which keeps housing in even higher demand, prices ridiculously high and meanwhile more and more Australians are ending up homeless or living in poverty.
