  2. Well it’s not that hard to fathom. His opponent was an unelected DEI hire who said a lot of things without saying anything and her predecessor was practically comatose. Half of Americans didn’t trust these people to be running arguably the most powerful country in the world. Donald Trump, love him or hate him, had a clear message which resonated with more people. He represented the protest vote for anyone with a distrust of the present war mongering political elite.
