Many Americans still enjoy the process of filling out a check, especially while buying groceries.

It was just implemented on me today, that is how I ended up here. My traditional bank bill pay has been handed over to Zelle and Zelle has limits on transactions and amounts. They are forcing me to write checks again, that is their recommendation to me. Garbage.

Apple Cash is way better.

@andrewsmith8715 That is because America subsidizes the planet. Without the American taxpayer, no nation would have national health care, etc.

@heythave Americans are abandoned orphans unwanted in their forefathers country. Issues.

A lot of people have been getting hit on Zelle with rental scams, etc. All the smart people that never get scammed will dismiss the danger.

Laughs in old fashioned knowing that your social credit score is being curated based on how much money you move to whom. Physical cash is still the king of transactions for pure privacy.

My bank eliminated an excellent payment app for Zelle, I am not impressed with Zelle. It is just electric doughnut money.

Many Americans prefer face to face transactions, especially in a post covid world.

@SWLinPHX Zelle can also arbitrarily cut off your ability to make payments. I do not trust any company or government after witnessing the malfeasance of China and Canada when they shut down protestors money. Nope. Can't trust them. Cash is king. Gold is emperor.

Entrepreneurship always starts as a third party solution, proves itself with massive AB testing, then gets purchased and molded into an organization or syndicate. I bet dollars to doughnuts (1970s prices) that this bank syndicate worked through their venture funds to find Zelle and then sponsored it as their own. Zelle looks like is not third party, but I guarantee a bunch of finance spreadsheet monkeys did not build Zelle.

@abrahamhernandez5719 No, it is possible. I do not know if it is possible across international borders. Zelle was imposed on me this week, that is how I ended up here. I had another system that permitted me limitless money exchange, Zelle has limits "for my protection" that restricts necessary cash flow.

Australia has enjoyed certain social entitlements and benefits as the American taxpayer is trapped covering all their own costs while forced to subsidize the world with a navy to ensure your barges bring you your food and supplies. Imagine how unhappy the world will be if the BRIC nations succeed with China and Russia overthrowing the petrol dollar...no more socialized medicine or college or pensions.

If business folks didn't have make believe words (like engineers and computer geeks) it would be evident we should avoid them, their offerings, and their inventions.

Indonesia crack the code on toilets yet?

It is not a major development, it is different that the traditional capitalist third party app. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the benefit the owners of Zelle are reaping. No charge means the customer is the product. What are they providing beside data and money transfers? Something fishy about this, I do not trust it. Perhaps this is the free world's workaround for a social credit financial consequence at some point in the future.
