The only reason darkseid was able to capture him was because trigon didn’t have a physical form at that time, trigon was absolutely destroying darkseid when he was possessing Superman and when he had his own body

@chuckrothans7535 true but trigon didn’t have a physical form and was severely weakened, capturing an ethereal trigon is very different from trying to subdue trigon when he has a physical form. Also I have a hard time remembering the spelling

Agreed, trigon was only in an ethereal form at that point and was destroying darkseid when he had a body. Hell, trigon wasn’t even going all out during the second fight while darkseid was going all out

The only characters that gave him any trouble were Superman and Trigon, Superman gave him a bit of trouble but trigon wrecked him

Then raven does even better by setting trigon free to fight him

@blackSUAAAVE not really since darkseid has been beaten by Superman and the justice league in the past. The same can’t be said for trigon since he has never lost to the league

@darkseid5284 if you’re referring to the darkseid that fought trigon in apocalypse war then you are mistaken. Darkseid wasn’t holding his own, trigon was dominating him in both fights

@chuckrothans7535 I’m pretty sure that isn’t the case when on apokolips since it’s an inter dimensional planet and technically trigon did win since he literally dragged darkseid into the tube with him and was dominating darkseid throughout the fight
