  3. NoobPunisherz my favorite scenes are Gandalf vs Durin's Bane, the Smaug scenes (desolation of Smaug and battle of the five armies), boromir's redemption/death, and the scene where everyone bows to Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin at the end of return of the king

Gamer Girl that scene was good and it's one of my favorites from the franchise along with the others I mentioned, it's just that the other scenes were better in my opinion because of the emotional impact they had (Gandalf falling to his death with Durin's Bane, Boromir's redemption/last stand, pippin's loss of innocence at minas tirith, and the hobbits being honored by everyone at aragorn's coronation/wedding for their part in the war of the ring). The Legolas scene from the hobbit trilogy just doesn't have the impact that the other scenes do

  5. John Hanifin most of this list could've been considered the best, I probably would have replaced eowin with merry and pippin because they had a larger role to play in the series and actually became more than the comic relief that most of the fellowship members believed them to be
