I’d go with Pompeii because aside from the love story aspect it was largely accurate to the events that the movie was based on, that being the 79 AD eruption of Vesuvius

@Ott-ep7sl especially since unlike with Dante’s Peak, Vesuvius is a very real volcano and really did destroy Pompeii. The fact that Vesuvius can repeat what happened to Pompeii makes it even scarier

It was but I’d honestly put Pompeii over Dante’s Peak since it was more accurate to the real eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD while Dante’s Peak was only loosely based on the eruption of Mount Saint Helen

@drunkenastarte5243 it’s likely has even less time since most of the structures in the city aren’t built to safely withstand earthquakes (which would become more common as Vesuvius gets closer to erupting)
