  1. I'd say that the biggest threats that are most likely to occur are pandemic, supervolcanoes, nuclear war, and/or asteroid impact. They are all events that have an immediate (1 year or less) impact world wide

  2.  @Aroaceenby  that’s part of why I said pandemic but a pandemic would only have the potential to end humanity while super volcanoes (mainly flood basalts), nuclear war, and large impacts are able to end all life
