  7.  @OzGeologyOfficial  I learned it in a video posted by geologyhub on toba. I believe he mentioned that the first eruption was vei 6 that occurred around 1.2 million years ago (Haranggoal Dacite Tuff), the one that occurred 800,000 years ago (the oldest toba tuff) was it’s first vei 8, the middle toba tuff (500,000 years ago) was vei 7, and the last one was obviously the largest of them. I also agree that Toba likely didn’t push humanity to the edge of extinction (it might be possible but unlikely), you’d need an eruption on the scale of the Siberian Traps for something like that to happen (you might want to make a video on the Siberian Traps since it was one of the largest eruptions in earth’s history and was the likely trigger for the Permian Extinction)
