Listening to all this, I remember why I spent 1998-2024's pc buying plans going a bit like "Anything, as long as it's not Intel, oh wait that means AMD which is always better value for money, and better for the market". And punk teens grow up and found companies, so that's another 12 PCs subject to a "Never Intel!!" policy today. Which probably won't put a dent in the market, but if 30% of people thought like me, Intel's overlords would be finished. I can afford my principles. It remains to be seen if Intel, Apple, Tesla and other agressive anti-consumer American mega-corps can afford theirs.
