Ah, you're back from today's breadline Sergei. So sad that those are back in Putin's Russia. I had an excellent day shopping today and bought high-quality food, none of which you can afford, for the rest of the day. Then I drove my 2023 EV that no Russian can afford to the forest and walked there in peace which no Russian has.

Where were the pumps that drained New Orleans in 2005 from again...? Not from the US where conservatives had long since slashed reserve pump capacity. And why was I in Afghanistan twice? Which country decided to invade and then argued Europe should come save them from their lousy peacekeeping?

The thing is: Russia can just become more totalitarian to compensate for their collapse. North Korea is completely broke, yet look at them go. Crucially mainstream pro-regime Russians don't care about such things. To them "You're de facto bankrupt" doesn't matter, conquering more 'inferior peoples' to bring about 'Russky Mir' is.

What about the Russian 5th column? Russian hybrid warfare is nearly in control or in control of several key countries. Up until the last election confirmed putin-worshippers controlled 10 out of 75 seats in the Dutch upper chamber of parliament. Even after they control 3 in both chambers BUT Geert Wilders, previously proudly posing with a Russian flag and defending the Russian terrorist strike against MH17, is currently forming a government with him in control of the largest party by far. I mean Wilders saw the writing on the wall and hid his Russian flag in 2022, but as prime minister, who knows how much leverage Russia has? Heck, gain control of his stash of hair bleach he uses to appear more 'aryan' and Wilders does all you want. 😆

@daydays12 I failed to see an asterisk in your post covering things like "Except the Dutch who dug into their active stockpile" or "Except Poland that may seem to hate democracy as much as Putin does, but they hate Putin more than anything" or "Except the British where the Tories are strong, and only Labour is weak and has been bribed by Russia".

@1conkers1 Nothing besides Trump, who has a record of 100% obedience to Putin within 48 hours of a demand being phoned in from the Kremlin. And in 2016 his supporters were just weird, but now they're more like completely insane frothing-at-the-mouth kill-the-infidels style demons. Feel free to call me a cynic, but if half the US electorate can have ISIS terrorists stammering "....But why so fundamentalist?" there's a problem. Look at the Republican policy about 'Jewish space lasers', a classical anti-semitic conspiracy theory that would've been political suicide 1945-2015. Nowadays Majorie Taylor Greene is defeating the few remaining moderate Republicans who oppose her for it.

@u2beuser714 And Vladimir Putin is a couple months away from becoming the de facto US president, who's riding on the support of a bunch of thoroughly-purged frothing-at-the-mouth yes-men who would back Putin-Trump blindly. The Netherlands was taken by Geert Wilders, who proudly posed with a Russian flag and admires Orban. Hungary fell. Turkey fell. Poland fell to all purposes BUT fighting Russia. France is about to fall to Putin-Le Pen as president. Germany was mostly subjugated with Russian hybrid warfare, specifically costly masses of zero-perspective incompatibles. By extension, NATO is a couple months away from becoming defunct.
