There's a huge level of irony to the Republicans screeching that they think the Democrats aren't doing much against an 'invasion' of illegal migrants, while themselves refusing to do much of anything against a literal invasion. Under US law, accepting money or favours to work for a foreign power hostile to the US is treason and a severe crime. Mike Johnson and Rand Paul need to be investigated, especially their finances.

@ericp1139 There is a plan. It's just that Johnson is putting his fingers in his ears going "Nanana can't hear you, lalalala" while it's being explained to him, and then complains he hasn't heard anything yet. Presumably Johnson then goes off to his FSB handler to collect a suitcase with money as payout. This is of course called treason, and several members of the US chambers of parliament such as Rand Paul need to be investigated for it.

@TheTplehar Ah yes, republican politicians, famously good at concocting military plans. 😆 With huge succes stories like jumping into Iraq with a few weeks prep time. Which went splendidly and didn't result in any spin-off fighting or instability at all. And Afghanistan of course, where the military genius Trump first withdrew all US troops, then as soon as the Afghans explained their army survives through air supply, Trump cut off the Afghan airforce, before Cadet Bonespurs complained that the Afghans weren't fighting hard enough despite having no pay, no ammo, no food, no water.
