@Nabium They don't need to make anyone up: Plenty of people willing to sell their soul for a couple thousand dollars. Look at Gonzalo Lira, Chilean legalised immigrant, unemployed and failing, couple convictions coming his way that'll make him well-acquinted with how a US prison cell looks like. Then 'suddenly' he starts singing Russia's praises and moves to Ukraine where he gets involved in disinformation and human trafficking apparently having somehow raised starting capital for that. He was expendable too: Russia put him in Kharkiv and the SBU was onto him in half a year. After Lira's arrest the Kremlin slammed Ukraine for it within hours, thus basically confessing Lira was their asset. That means they've dozens more losers lined up to take his place.
