It's really refreshing to see a more critical review. I was very skeptical of this from the beginning. I think the videos turned out exactly as they were designed, an attempt to tear down Linux. It seemed as though Linus and Luke were already familiar with these so-called "problems" and recreated them for the video on purpose. The target audience isn't meant to be Linux users and the free and open source community, but rather the Windows and proprietary community to attempt to dissuade them from "making the switch", that is to Linux, something that is becoming increasingly more popular among the tech crowd.
