  1. The people in Appalachia has my heart. I lived in Cherokee, NC, the Rez, and surrounding us were the Smoky Mountains, Blue Ridge, and Appalachians. They've been a very strong people through many difficult times, but today with the hard drugs problems, well , they're losing their long, hard fought, heritage. The US Government doesn't seem to give a sxxt about them . Sad. Beautiful part of the country wirh some really good people.
