 @riverduck3 Unfortunately, the parents probably gave up their lives to care for their kids. The new cold, selfish attitude towards parents SUCK !

@norisks I wish you the best in that endeavor, I truly do. There's some cold, selfish comments on here from some cold, selfish people who find excuses but can't find commitment. Most of those nursing homes ARE HORRIBLE places (someone said don't call them horrible but most of them are & I don't give one flip what the stupid say anyway).

@carolgallego135 I can definitely believe that and I'm so sorry that happened. Mine was too. I wanted to pull her out of there but her husband had all of the legal say and I was blocked legally at every turn. It's heartbreaking and frustrating.

@MrDolfo1 Many seniors end up homeless and in the streets, or shelters, which are just as dangerous. I'm not being morbid, I've seen them personally and it's on the news daily. The same place I'll be when I no longer have the financial ability to pay rent, been there before. It isn't new, there's been documentaries and exposés the last 30 years. America has chosen to ignore it and look the other way because most American families don't give a damn anymore.

@hemchanddayal8191 Yep, and do an undercover scouting visit a few times, at different times and different days, if possible. There's a better chance of seeing whatever the reality is there beforehand.
